Animal Coloring Sheets are the Next Best Thing to Real Animals

Living in a big city has many special benefits. Almost every day during the spring break, my children and I jump on the city metro train and go to the free zoo. My son is five and my daughter is nine. They could not imagine living anywhere that does not give them the opportunity to visit animals from around the world. On rainy days instead of going to the zoo, the children stay home and complete animal coloring sheets. They use the information they gathered from the actual visits to determine what shade each animal should be colored. It might just be that I am raising future zoologists.
