Although cremation has been carried out for centuries there are still some cultures that are against the service. However in cultures where it is allowed the cremation rate has steadily risen over the last few years.The cremation process consists of burning the body at very high temperatures, reducing the body to ash. Any larger bones are then extracted and pulverized. Ashes are then given to the immediate family in an urn.It may be due to the rising cost of a traditional burial, or the personal way in which remains can be kept at home for generations to come in a specially designed urn but for whatever reason the rate of cremation continues to rise all over the globe.
