Help I need electrical advice! My lights can not keep a light bulb lit for more than two weeks. I am even buying the new fluorescent swirled bulbs that are supposed to last up to a year. It’s not happening. I suspect that it has something to do with the old wiring in my apartment building. According to the paperwork, the entire building is “up to code”. However, my apartment seems to be the only one having trouble. Since we are owners of the apartments, I really don’t have a landlord who can help with this matter. IS this something I should attempt to investigate on my own or should I contact an electrician?

A few days ago I had my car broken into and a few minor items were taken. This is the second this has happened in the past year. A neighbor down the street had bought a couple of metal garage buildings because he had some of the same trouble with thieves as well. I wound up walking down to my neighbor’s house and talking with him about his buildings and where he had purchased them.
