Back up Wii games – why do it?

I’ts a question you see bobbing up time and time again in the gaming forums: what is the best way to back up wii games? – however  the question that should really be asked before that is: why back up wii games in the first place? And the answer is quite straightforward – we back up wii games because it makes good economic sense to do so. If I’m paying up to $50 for a new wii game the last thing I want is to have to fork out another $50 should the original media become damaged in any way. It is therefore simply prudent to make backup copies of my original game discs.
