I have a couple of friends who tried this crazy experiment. They were going to try something called polyphasic sleep. Meaning they would take short fifteen minute naps every four hours. Yea, I know, it sounds crazy. The theory is that this way the body will get much more efficient and getting benefits from sleep, and you’ll get to be awake longer, so you can accomplish more. All kinds of scientists have reportedly used this method to make their breakthrough discoveries. My friends, on the other hand, only lasted a day and a half. So much for that. At least they tried. I have to give them credit for that.
