He has seen what happened to an officer’s family after his death and how difficult it was for his mother to raise their children on her own. He loved his wife and children and always wanted to protect them as much as possible. Knowing he faced danger every day, he did not want his family to face uncertainty if something were to happen to him in the line of duty. What a great guy my brother was.
