Wearing Your Safety Belt

Being ticketed just once for not wearing your safety belt will not only cost yor money in fines but will also cost you money on your car insurance premiums. All fifty states take take seat belt violations very seriously. Driving and not wearing your safety belt is a moving violation. This violation will stay on your driving record for years. When an insurance agent pulls a driver’s driving record and finds this violation it already adds money to your car insurance premiums. Drivers that do not wear their safety belts are at more of a risk of getting seriously hurt if invloved in an accident therefore causing insurance companies to pay out more money when they have to pay out claims.
