Importance of Replacement Tiller Tines

When tilling our garden, my husband felt that he needed replacement tiller tines to better till the soil. The current tines, he said, were not effective anymore in doing the job. The reason for this was because the soil in our garden was hard, so the tiller had to work harder, thus affecting the quality of the tines. Much depends on how often the tines will need to be replaced, but the most significant factor is the quality of the soil, and how often the tiller is used. If used on a frequent basis, the tines may need to be replaced more often.
