A theological college college, or divinity school is a special and oftentimes live-in advanced education institution for the intention of teaching students in philosophy, divinity, spiritualism and the sacred life, usually in order to train them to be followers of the clergy. Students in a seminary college specially of the Roman Catholic Church are called Seminarists. The word “theological college” originates from the Latin word seminarium “seed bed”, the neuter of seminarius “of or linked to seed”, used as a noun. This word is right since Reformed Seminary is where the seeds of religious up-bringing are planted. The origin of this word is semen “seed”, which comes from the same early Proto-Indo-European source that give us English sow and seed.
