I am Dreading Telling Her

I am dreading telling my daughter that we are not going to be able to put her in music lessons. I promised her that we would do it this summer, and she has been looking forward to it all year. But now that the time has come, we don’t have the money. I can’t even put the lessons on a credit card, because all of ours are full. The worst part about it is that we bought her a guitar for Christmas, and now she is not going to be able to use it. I wonder if I can find some free guitar lessons. At least then she could get some use out of her instrument.
